Functional Capacity Assessments

STANDARDS
We provide a standard of service aligned with our Regulatory Body (AHPRA) and that of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission. Supporting self-managed and Plan Managed participants.

TIMELY REPORTS
Provision of timely reports. Typically applicable for online FCA’s. Reports are completed to a draft format for review within *7 days (*T&C’s apply).

COMPREHENSIVE
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) are comprehensive and generally requested for approved participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

INSIGHTFUL
A FCA report provides an overview of what your day-to-day living looks like – the how, why, where, what and when.

DAILY LIVING FUNDING
FCA’s provide an in-depth review of a person’s level of function and daily living needs. They ensure ongoing NDIS funding for participants – supports and services.

HOLISTIC
Our FCA service, considers the physical, psychological, emotional, social cognitive, environmental and cultural factors – in the context of home, living, social, community, work and vocational life.

FUNCTIONAL ABILITY & NEEDS
FCA’s explore an individuals functional abilities, skills, strengths, barriers, supports and service needs, aligned with disability, goals and aspirations. A comprehensive assessment service, best provided by an Occupational Therapist.

RECOMMENDATIONS
A FCA considers recommendations for increased support services, capacity building, social inclusion activities, and assistive technology. Wheelchair prescription, home modifications, and other daily living needs, relevant to your level of function, disability and goals.

THERAPY SUPPORTS – heads up.
Therapy supports are evidence-based supports to help build or maintain your skills and independence. The NDIS states: they can only fund therapy supports that are provided by qualified allied health professionals who are registered with their relevant professional body (AHPRA).
